Dover Downs Hotel & Casino

Hotel is great. Friendly staff and everything. I used to go here all the time but it has been about a year since I have been here. I like to wake up early and drag my dad who isn’t a big gambler to the roulette wheel. He never really played that ever until I swayed him to play for a little while. We went down this morning and they said that they don’t start until 12:00. We waited until 12:00 and they were still counting chips. I sat down and got my phone out while they were figuring out what was going on. They both immediately decided to tell me that there are no phones allowed at the table. I asked if we were ready to play and they said no there was work to do before the table opens. (Now it’s after 12:05). I asked if we were going to start soon and as they counted the chips and they rudely told me they were working on it and made me feel like I was bothering them. That’s when I got annoyed and got on my cell phone to look at the time. Then they reminded me no phones at the table. Can they just stick to the schedule and not worry about a customer wanting to spend money with them at the roulette wheel. I know the rules about no cell phone es at the table. But when you are late and I am just sitting there. No need for harassment. Killed my vibe. I am sitting at the slots across from the roulette and won’t be going back. Kind of sucks but maybe new people later will change my mind and be nicer. Good luck guys

Would travel from Maryland to Bally's for the pretty consistent offers. I get they're based on play but to go from $75, to $35 in free slot play, to $15 in free bets isn't worth the trip. My last trip was for my birthday so stayed over using comp. The rooms are shameful! The furniture and curtains were badly stained, and now they have the nerve to charge a resort fee. Nothing about filthy furniture, people living in the parking lot, or running illegal operations out of the rooms, google it, says resort. Understand it's a business but put some of the money into the rooms. In addition to paying dealers, some of my favs have gone to Delaware Park. Do better!

I like the atmosphere of the hotel and casino, also I like to mark down, the marvelous help and customer service provides for one of your host Pat Carrol. She was very helpful, polite, and she's a person with excellent skills. My name is Angela Heron, and I have bad experience before with the customer service at front desk, reservations and other host
