During the week day in the summer you can find good hotel deals. Our family stumbled across Gold Leaf on Dewey Beach! What a hidden jewel. What an awesome group of people running the place. They have no idea just how bad of a situation our family is in and they truly felt like old cousins. Great & immediate responses, clean hotel, awesome location where you can see Dewey beach from the window and a 10 second walk to the beach. It is right in the heart of the action surrounded by entertainment, food and more but also very quiet. Nice size rooms and old fashioned hotel complimentary toiletries from tooth paste to hygiene products. Did I mention the roof-top pool!

Front desk at check in was friendly and efficient. Room was clean. Bed very comfortable. Night shift Ms. Paula was absolutely the sweetest!!! She told me most of her siblings work the desk. Cleaning staff were very accommodating. Close to the beach and everything you need. We were on the first floor and even with the bar across the parking lot, it was very quiet.

We loved our weekend stay at Goldleaf. The hotel was very clean, well maintained, and well staffed. The room had peeks of both the ocean and bay, as well as a double door that opened for a nice cross breeze. Parking was easy in the parking garage making it easy to get to your room. It was clear staff cared about their visitors stay, as well as keeping their hotel clean. There is also a pool on the roof top. We would absolutely stay here again!
