This is for my stay from June 19-20. The Destination Fee is a rip off. The Big Bus Tour itself is poorly run. No one told me the bus only stops at the hotel once early in the morning, so I had to walk to the White House bus stop. The employee there did not give me the correct information on how long the loop took and that I would have to get off and wait for another bus at the Washington Monument. The employees seem confused about the blue and red bus system. They are mostly trying to get people to buy passes. I was by myself. The Destination Fee gives 2 passes, so one of them was of no use to me. I did not need the uber pass because I didn’t go anywhere away from walking distance. I do not use hotel wifi for security reasons. For the meal discount, I had to go to the front desk to have it taken off. It was not automatically removed. I arrived around 4:00 pm on June 27 and left at 7:45 am on June 28. The Destination Fee for someone staying like me is a rip off. Yes, I got $5 off my hurriedly eaten breakfast. I did use the Uber, but I was charged the full amount. No discount was taken. I waited to write this until the uber charge was finalized on my credit card. It is finalized at the full, amount, no discount.

Honestly I never write bad reviews, but to be honest I had a terrible check-in experience: they made me wait for 2 hours for a place to sleep after I had made a reservation and came in on a red-eye. Staff did not feel personal or intimate—just names on a list.
