Clarion Inn and Conference Center

Approached the hotel and right away I was concerned for my life. The signage outside tells the entire story. It was dim and dirty like BATES HOTEL. Sheriff car outside and people leaning over the balcony with their room doors open. I still went inside hopeful that the pool was nice and room was decent. I was a little early and the very unhappy girl at the desk was not available to speak until 4pm which is Check in time. Thats exactly what she said. Its fine I sat in the lobby where her children were sitting. 2 lovely little girls. Dont worry because their father showed in the lobby from time to time to argue with the front desk girl. Dont worry they eventually took it outside. Her kids seem to be ok being inside without mom and the fighting did not faze them one bit. SAD. explains why is was so miserable. Life is hard. Meanwhile another couple arrive and they seem upset with the service. They explain that the photos are not what they have. It was false advertising. That couple begins to argue amongst themselves about how terrible the place is and what they were going to do. It seems they had just flown in and the cost. The police arrive about the arguing couple. I had to ask who are you hear for the front desk girl because she was fighting with a man outfront. They explain the front desk girl was the one who called complaining about the couple. I told the police she (front desk girl) was fighting with a man who was no longer around. The front desk girl leaves. No more desk girl noone to check you in. Im not sure whats gong on withe police outside. Staying hopeful i walked to see the pool. The pool looks nothing like the picture and it is not very clean. Another guest was not in a very good mood because they needed to be moved from their room as it was not in good conditions. It was time for me to leave. I requested a refund and I could not stay here. They would not and do not care. I ended up finding another hotel last minute costing me more money. I have been on the phone and noone cares and no one wants to give me a refund since i never had the opportunity to check in because there was no desk person she left. The person there attempting to give me a key to a random room was not working for me. DONT GO HERE!!!

This place doesn’t even deserve one star! Holes in the walls. No lock on the room door. Air vents are so dirty they’re black! DISGUSTING! People screaming outside. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!!!!!! UNSAFE. UNSANITARY. THE WORST “HOTEL” I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE.
