I was there for the night. The staff was great; the breakfast was straightforward. The room was clean. The beach was a short walk from the hotel, and they provided beach towels. Bay Harbour is very quiet over the weekend, so overall very happy with my stay..

Unfortunately my experience at the Landon was poor. The staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming. The carpet is musty throughout the hotel. The breakfast consists of cold cereal, toast, and bagels. They have apples and coffee available throughout the day. There is a $20 resort fee but there is not a pool or gym, so the $20/day fee was an unexpected add on. With all the amazing lodging options nearby, we will not be returning.

Hotel in lovely location, Bal Harbor, approximately 8 miles north of South Miami. Beautiful beach and coastline nearby and restaurants and a bar within easy access. Evening Receptionist was super friendly and there is a happy hour - free wine between 5.00 and 6.00pm every evening. Rooms are spacious, comfrey bed, clean and good shower. Scored this hotel as a three due to lack of facilities- no pool and no bar. However perfectly adequate for a stop over and it seems to be a favourite stop for people joining a cruise. Cost 50 to 60 dollar in taxi from airport and to cruise ports.
