The $45 resort fee for pool and beach is not in fact a private amenity for guests, but open to public year round. While that may be understandable off season, it should be noted, that as a mother traveling alone with a teen daughter, I didn’t feel comfortable

I absolutely love coming to Delray Sands Hotel. I live only a couple of miles away, but every visit feels like a true getaway. The beach is beautiful, the pool is relaxing, and Latitude’s Restaurant is always phenomenal. What really keeps me coming back, though, is the service. From the valet team to the pool staff to the restaurant team, everyone is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about making guests feel welcome. Whether I’m meeting friends, enjoying a staycation, or simply recharging my batteries, Delray Sands never disappoints. Five out of five stars every time. Thank you for consistently providing such a wonderful experience right here in our community! — Ali, Boynton Beach ☀️🌴💙

We picked this for location-we had things in area we wanted to see. We also liked that it was on the beach, has a pool /hot tub, outdoor bar and restaraunt. We found it to be clean. I did discover some small beatle-type bugs that scurried quickly when I turned the bathroom light on at night...3 on floor and one larger one on the sink. I was able to kill them. They were NOT cockroaches. Never saw any more. I always bring my own disinfectent and could tell by wiping things initially- the place is clean. For most part, everything was good. I was surprised to find no microwave in the room- I drink coffee slowly and like to reheat it. Thankful we found an urn of coffee in one of the hallways- only offered early morning hours. I am not fond of Keurig machines in rooms (? As to whether these coffee makers are ever cleaned routinely for mold growth- yucky). Otherwise you are stuck in hotel- restaraunt charges $4 a cup! And costs you everytime you take your car out! I did not like when we pulled up and we were told Valet parking is the only option! The staff started taking all our things out of car before I could tell them to leave certain things in my car. Valet parking comes with a $20 overnight fee- DAILY! Plus with all the tipping coming and going with my own car- it ended up pricey! I dreaded the valet- this is no service to me. I don't like waiting for my car and don't like people driving it. Valet parking is not a luxury for me at all- makes me feel like I am stuck at Hotel California! We had to keep breaking bills to get enough tipping money! Tipping is done with the beach staff that set up chairs /umbrellas. And there is a sign- no coolers allowed on beach! If your thirsty you have to order from the staff on beach...which sometimes is fun /nice to do. But sometimes I would prefer to bring my own drinks! I guess the extra resort fees cover the pool, hot tub? So don't be surprised at the list of extra fees added at the end of your trip (all those hidden fees!) I will say the staff was very nice. The housekeepers are excellent at keeping fresh towels on hand, making the bed! Making one feel spoiled! They also provided bottled waters. I never mind tipping them! My spouse wants to return...but I think we can find a less pricey nice hotel next time. I saw there are plenty to choose from in this area.
