⭐ 1 star Absolutely unacceptable experience. I prepaid $3,905.28 through the Revolut app for a 19-day stay at Residence Inn Boca Raton. When I arrived, the hotel staff told me I only owed $1,770—which I paid on the spot. I asked multiple times if that was correct, and they confirmed it. Then, more than a week later, I was told I owed an additional $1,200+ without taxes. This mistake was entirely on the hotel’s side, but they’re trying to force me to pay more money I simply don’t owe. They are now threatening to kick me and my children out even though I’ve already paid in full and have confirmation from the booking platform. I have written proof from Revolut that the total amount was prepaid. The hotel’s behavior is unprofessional, disorganized, and hostile. Instead of owning up to their mistake, they are bullying guests and trying to double charge. This has caused me extreme stress and financial strain during what should have been a simple prepaid stay. Absolutely disgraceful. I’ll never return, and I strongly urge others to stay far away from this property unless you want to be scammed and harassed mid-stay.

I was very disappointed with my recent stay at the Residence Inn Boca Raton. The hotel is quite old and noticeably worn down. Be aware that all room doors are exterior entry. The check-in desk is outdated and dingy, and there is nothing about the lobby that suggests ownership takes pride in or cares for this property. The wear and tear is obvious throughout — from the lobby to the rooms, and even the so-called workout room (which feels more like a workout closet with barely enough space to turn around). The included breakfast was typical for an “included breakfast”… but only sadder. Limited options, lackluster presentation, and not much effort to make it feel welcoming or fresh. The room was a tragedy — dark, dingy, musty, and worn. I can’t imagine anyone uses this for an extended stay and actually enjoys it. The bathroom was especially disappointing: worn, in disarray, and in desperate need of repair. I’m genuinely surprised that the Marriott brand continues to associate with a property in this condition, as it does not reflect the standards typically expected from the company.

I absolutely hate giving bad reviews but I feel I need to with this one. We travel a lot as a family and this is probably one of the worst hotels we've stayed at. We booked our room and told them we'd be checking in around 9pm as we were driving from out of state. When I went to check in they told me they gave our room away. We were able to get a different one but for $155 this is a 2 star room at best. The images on the listing are absolutely misleading! I don't understand the positive reviews, I have posted photos to look at, there is zero excuse for this. The lights are dim, the room was musty, dirty vents, 2 bath towels for a group of 5 people, the floor in the living room bowed and made noise when standing on it, stained cushions and mattress on the couch. The mold and mildew in the room caused me a sinus infection that I needed to get antibiotics for. I am extremely allergic. I had to go down to the office and ask for pillows, blankets and sheets for the pullout. At least the king bed and bathroom shower seemed clean. The lady at the front desk for check in was polite though no ask from the morning staff as to how my stay was.
