Streamsong Resort

This was an exceptional, unexpected gem. Seriously. After you go, don’t tell anyone. Keep it quiet. Shhh. The Black Course is outstanding if you’re a serious golfer. We’ll absolutely be back. One note: my wife and I’s flight landed late, and we were convinced we’d have nothing to eat. Enter The Loft. Open until midnight with pool, shuffleboard, darts, golf simulators… and Caleb. Picture the ultimate late-night bro cave. There wasn’t another soul in the place. Caleb treated us like royalty and old friends from the moment we walked in. Charcuterie board, drinks, and laughs until midnight. Over the next three days he remembered our drinks, our names, and our wildly inappropriate jokes. Give that man a raise. And ask him about the difference between cylinders and pistons. The golf is phenomenal. The steakhouse is worth every penny. Watching the sunset from The Loft with a game of pool and terrible jokes is hard to beat. The rooms are fantastic too. The wood louvers are unlike anything we’ve seen at another resort and add a ton of character. Yes, it’s out in the middle of nowhere. The drive through central Florida feels like equal parts gators and Deliverance. Totally worth it. Every staff member we encountered was attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed happy we were there. Get a drink. Play great golf. Relax. Repeat. This is easily one of the best golf resorts we’ve ever visited, and we’ve been to quite a few. Again… shhh. Don’t tell a soul. Top Class experience. Visited from the UK, played Red and Blue in the Spring Stableford competition, which was very well organised. Golf courses are full of interest and were in superb condition. Caddie was excellent, half way hut food and staff brilliant, hotel rooms fantastic and restaurants of the highest quality. Service at the resort is really good and we will certainly be back. Other courses played on the trip were TPC Sawgrass Stadium and Bay Hill; and Streamsong sat well with those.
