Melia Orlando Suite Hotel at Celebration

Stayed here last minute for 2 nights as a family of 5. Very pretty and impressive looking hotel in lovely area. Close to celebration and not far from Disney parks. Bit of a long queue to check in but great that our room was ready early. They gave us an upgrade to a 2 bed room which was good for the extra space . However once in the room we realised it was because there was a literal building site outside the balcony . Wasn’t too much of an issue as was a short stay to use as a base but could be annoying for longer stays. Room spacious with kitchenette and coffee maker and full size fridge freezer. Clean but Felt quite basic and was due a refurbishment I would say with quite a lot of damage or marks to furniture Few more negatives - toilet would not flush when we arrived - this was fixed by time we returned the same day. Then the shower wouldn’t work the second night - had to use the other bathroom which would have been an issue if there wasn’t 2. Pool looked lovely but we didn’t use it but could see we would not have got sun loungers. Overall it was an ok stay as we got a good deal but tbh I did expect more from a Melia and would probably choose somewhere else next time. If I’d paid more I would not have been happy.

Once again The Melia' Celebration Orlando comes through like the excellent place it is. From check in, through the stay, to check out this resort is excelled. Room was fantastic, lots of chairs to relax poolside. The employees there always have a smile on their faces and a Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening on their lips. A terrific place that I will always stay with.

My experience was really good. i came here with my family and the people in the pool Juan and Elizabeth were really kind with my kids during bingo on saturday. this resort has everything you need but the best thing is the people and the service they give
