We entered the unit and were immediately met with a very strong mold odor. The carpets were heavily stained and appeared dirty, the furniture was in significant disrepair with torn chairs and worn-out beds lacking proper support, and the toilet was unsanitary and leaking. The lanai contained only a rusted old metal table and chair, with torn screens, and the drapes were moldy. This was unacceptable and fell far below any reasonable standard of cleanliness, maintenance, or habitability. This situation caused significant disruption to our travel plans and required us to secure last-minute accommodations elsewhere. Due to these conditions, we left the unit immediately and returned to your office to request an alternative. We were shown another unit in a different building; however, upon entering, we again encountered a strong mold odor and declined the accommodation. At that point, we requested that our reservation be canceled, which your office processed, along with a refund of the cleaning fee. While I acknowledge that your staff complied with our request to cancel, the condition of both units presented was unacceptable and fell far below any reasonable standard of cleanliness, maintenance, or habitability. This situation caused significant disruption to our travel plans and required us to secure last-minute accommodations elsewhere. I strongly encourage your management team to conduct a thorough review of the condition, maintenance, and cleanliness standards of your units. I don't understand all the negative reviews except that unhappy people write reviews and happy people don't bother? The exterior pictures are exactly how it appears in Feb 2026. Grounds and building exteriors were well maintained. Our elevator worked fine. You will be upset if you booked this thinking it's a hotel type resort. Websites have mistakenly classed this as a hotel and some call it Tuscana Resort. It's not a "hotel style resort" that provides guest supplies or interior maintenance services. It's a group of buildings of condominiums owned by permanent residents as well as companies that do vacation rentals. They have an HOA that only takes care of the common areas. We stayed a month in February 2026. The car gate was always locked, but would stay open for a time when a car came through. There is no locked gate to prevent pedestrian entrance. The pool area was wonderful with a great kids area, a working hot tub, shade cabanas, and pool bar/restaurant that was open during the days we stayed. But it is high season in Florida so things may be in full swing. When its really cold and no one is at the pool they may not have everything running or open. People complaining about their condo need to review and expose who rented it to them. Tuscana cannot be blamed for how your rental owner takes care of it. One apartment may be great while another terrible depending on the owner or the company they use to clean and maintain their unit. The condo owner provides interior supplies, pool towels, not the HOA or its office. We rented for a month through Vacasa/CasaGo and were very happy with ours. It was very clean, nicely decorated and had adequate starter supplies and plenty of towels. I would rate our stay a 5 except for the extraordinary noise from the permanent residents above who "run stompped" on the floor the length of their condo all day long and even past midnight. It shook the walls. Advise to avoid the 3rd floor condo in Building 2 (2306).

Terrible experience. Musty, damp and smelly condo with no hot water. Complained and told by Tropical Escapes that there is nothing they can do other than offer a $60 refund. Condo was old and looked like it hadnt been updated in 15 years. Bedrooms had uncomfortable and old spring matress and duvet without any coverings. Curtains were not big enough to cover window openings. Wasnt able to have a hot or warm shower for 4 days. I could go on and on..
