Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista at Marriott Village

Ladies take note: THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE! I actually had someone enter my room at 11pm, actually bust their way into my room even though the bolt was secured and the security brace was set. On top of that horrid incident: There is also no safe in the rooms. You need to leave your valuables at the front desk. There was no front desk clerk to check out and I ended up getting double charged. I will never stay on this property again, and I may not ever stay at a Marriott ever again.

We transferred to this hotel after 3 days at our original accomodation was not fit for purpose and our holiday provider found us 3 rooms at this hotel as an alternative - what a difference!. The hotel management were aware of our issues and invited us on a tour of the hotel and rooms to check we were happy before we agreed to the move. On first impressions we were made to feel very welcome and the staff were super friendly and very helpful, we moved that day. The rooms were large and the bed was very comfortable. The room facilities were well maintained and it was spotlessly clean. The furniture and decor is a little dated but this did not detract from our stay, we had a view of the pool which was a nice added bonus. There are a couple of laundry rooms, we had one on our floor, the machines were clean and in good condition, The pool area and outside spaces were well maintained and very clean and they operate a quite zone (after 10pm) which meant there was no loud noises from late night pool use. Free coffee was available from the reception, although it did run out quite a lot, the free breakfast was basic but plentiful and a nice addition to use a few times when we had a very early start. Overall this hotel was great for what you need for a holiday off resort in Orlando, We usually opt for private pool homes but if I wanted to use an off resort hotel again in Orlando, I would ley stay here again. Thank you to Fairfield Inn & Suites for salvaging our holiday after a terrible start!.

Needs updating. Not the cleanest room. There are trash left in the bin when we checked in. Intermittent free wifi. Free breakfast with the same food everyday. Expensive parking at $25 per day. Needs a vehicle to go anywhere.
