JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lak

This was my first stay at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes Orlando, and I have to say I was very disappointed with the room assignment. I did not pay extra for a premium view, but I certainly did not expect my window to overlook a large air-conditioning area. For a resort of this caliber and price range, the view was surprisingly poor. The hotel itself is beautiful, but looking out at industrial equipment instead of something more pleasant definitely took away from the experience. Even guests who don’t pay for the “best view” should not feel like they are staying behind the scenes of the resort. I expected much more from a luxury property like the JW Marriott and hope the hotel will reconsider assigning rooms with these views to first-time guests.

Endless activities and pool time. Tennis, biking, golf, a lazy river, pools and the spa are amazing! We stayed for the first time years ago and now have a hard time finding a comparable experience for a family vacation anywhere in the southeast. It’s our go to place, ( we’ve tried others but they don’t compare). It’s also a great place if you are staying with an animal, they love the walking paths and there are plenty of receptacles.

Great property, mid way to most parks. Amazing rooms. The only thing, good luck with the service (at check in, at the pool, …)
