Bermuda House

Great place. Beach front with nice view.

For paying $10 a day, parking is very limited. The lounge is only open until 10PM. We were there a week and reported the ice machine on the 2nd floor was out of service and nothing during the duration of the trip was done about it. The last day of our stay we ask the front desk if they could bring us towels and wash cloths at 11am. 5PM we came back to our room and still no towels. We had to go down again the girl at the front desk said she would send someone up we had dinner plans and had to readjust since our towels did not arrive until 6:15PM, which was an inconvenience. We have stayed at this Hilton twice know, however are heavily considering going back the the previous hotel we used to go to. It does have good points too close to shopping center and ocean front view very nice.

We went here as part of a time share presentation package for Hilton. Overall the stay was fine…the room and hotel were reasonably clean and met our expectations. Breakfast staff was friendly and a good price to get good breakfast w/ eggs made to order. My only few complaints…at check in I inquired about the time share presentation and before it was out of my mouth she blurts out we don’t have anything to do with that. The next morning I asked someone at the front desk again who was training, they walked over to the GM about 10 feet away and came back with the same response. So no shocker the staff was trained that way. It says Hilton on the sign yes? You took the reservation and revenue yes? I’m easy going as pie, if she would of even tried to be helpful like here’s the address where it’s located, or here is the number you can call…I would of been fine with that. Maybe go independent and not be a part of Hilton. Few other little things…few really really easy wins management could do is get a paint brush for some spots around the pool. The pool bar working would be cool to use as it was intended would be a nice amenity and create more revenue to help with mentioned repairs. Last thing is came back after dinner to a housekeeper wearing a shower cap and mean mugging me. I know Daytona area can be rough but come on now. All in all it was okay. Thank you for your time.
