Country Inn & Suites Port Orange/Daytona

Booked this location after having an issues with a long standing hotel chain I always use. We were en route for a cruise and needed a place for 2 nights. The staff at this hotel are what makes this hotel - Tiara and Jessica R are amazing! This is a pet friendly hotel and I do have allergies, however, the rooms do not have carpet in them - at least room 404 did not. I walked in - my allergies did not even trigger - that's how great a cleaning job the staff did. Jessica R was so helpful with recommendations of restaurants in the area for us as well. And a housekeeping staff gave input for things to see as well -- like I said - it's the staff that makes this location great. We did have an incident to happen - without details - I will advise that if you have a room with a flemsy desk chair - choose not to use the chair - room 404 had one. Once agan Jessica did a great job with this incident for us. This hotel is very clean, nice outdoor sitting areas, a good breakfast bar and convenient to many shops and restaurants. If we choose to cruise out of Port Canaveral again we will consider this hotel - it's only an hour drive from the port.

we rate this with a five the hotel is wonderful great location very quiet comfy beds. the only thing we were disappointed with was that the breakfast area was a complete mess everything was empty. they said that they were out of everything. with 45 minutes still left with breakfast time.

Not a whole lot to say - very nice modern chain hotel with friendly staff and free cookies. It's a good location for the Rolex 24 that's an easy 15-20 min drive but is much cheaper than being closer to the track. Given how long the night is in January I didn't mind losing a bit more time driving to/from the hotel.
