Days Inn Daytona Beach Downtown

I would never recommend this hotel. The room smelled of mold badly. Every time the AC would turn on you coughed from the smell. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling in above the shower head from water damage. There were cigarette burns in the blankets of a non-smoking room, there was a whole in the middle of the carpet. There were ants on the bathroom toilet paper and in the sink and finally the lamp shot sparks and fire out when you plugged it in because the switch to turn it on an off was broke off.

Overall it was a poor rating. The room was not clean as it should be. The floor was dirty, it caused our feet to be dirty. Bathroom needs ventilation to suck up the hot air while showering. Door needs more secure locks where it doesn't be loose. the door was not fully shut. It was a gap between it while it was closed. The dead bolt was very loose. Bed covers were not too good. It may have been washed but there were stains visible on it. Pillows need to be replaced.

Everything was fine. Room was clean, service was adequate. It's a quiet location. Pricing was good. Girls that clean rooms were super nice. Owners were pleasant. No problems at all. Typical restful stay.
