Holiday Inn Daytona Beach LPGA

This stay was everything except pleasant. I called the front desk, emailed the front desk, even chatted with IHG corporate with zero change. 1st room, no television service. 2nd room, no AC. Supposed to move to 3rd room however was told AC was fixed....arrived at hotel on day 2 and the heat was turned on! Lady at front desk was abrasive, almost confrontational and offered no solutions. She is worthless as a representative of your company. Housekeeping was swearing in the hallway about "Not getting paid enough to deal with all this s@&t" , and the breakfast was absolutely disgusting. I'll never stay at this location again nor will anyone from my company. No one offered any help nor did they care Sad reality is, we were staying to retrieve a 39 or old family member who was being moved to hospice. Zero stars on this location! That's the problem with IHG, I never know what the experience is actually going to be...Inconsistent stay experiences every time

Booked this room based on Tripadvisor glowing reviews. Well, I wasn’t disappointed. Fantastic location! Incredible staff. IGH should be very proud to have employees like this! Lisa on days was so kind and helpful! Jesus on nights was just as helpful and considerate. This is what other hotel chains dream of… dedicated employees! Bravo. A few constructive criticism… the landscaping seemed a bit off. The pool needs more attention but wasn’t a deal breaker. The rooms have been well used, but a refresh is probably coming sooner than later. Again.. I was happy with it, but it’s not brand new establishment. It’s a busy location from what I see. What makes this rise to the top is its staff! Oh yeah! Scott in the breakfast room was fantastic too. Just phenomenal staff.
