Crystal Sands Condominiums By Resortquest

Our stay was extremely disappointing. We arrived to find urine on one of the beds, hair on the bedding and in the shower, and blood on a pillow. The condo was not clean or in acceptable condition for guests. Because of the condition of the unit, we had to purchase our own blankets and sheets out of pocket, and one of the families that was supposed to stay with us ended up booking a hotel room because they did not feel comfortable staying there. What made the experience even more frustrating was how the situation was handled. We documented everything with photos and receipts and expected management to address the issue appropriately, but Ocean Reef Resorts did not take care of it in a way that reflected the seriousness of the concerns or the impact it had on our stay. For the amount paid and expectations of a vacation rental, this experience fell well below basic cleanliness and customer service standards. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again.

Unfortunate experience. We asked to check in early, they said no, and then made us wait for 27 minutes after check-in. The carpets in the unit (302A) are stained and disgusting. Once we expressed our displeasure they changed our door code, three separate times, the last time they told us we had to wait for an hour.

Location can't be beat. My apartment was clean but needed new blinds very much so. Beds good not great. Needed help with TV and manager was prompt with response. Great for most people not needing luxury. I would give a 5 if the blinds had not been missing slats and not closing correctly. I would stay again at Crystal Sands because of location.
