Sterling Shores by Sterling Resorts

Beware of construction going on at property. Starts at 7am and rattles the entire building. Awful and terribly inconsiderate. Would have been a great experience but they decided to go a full roof renovation during peak season.

Family of 5 and our 1st trip to Destin. We stayed in #707 and that had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a pull out couch bed with great views. We loved the location in Destin. Not in the super busy area and close to Henderson State Park. A very short walk from the pool to the amazing beach. There were actually 2 pools at Sterling Shores. The main pool was great and pretty big. Right next to the smaller pool they have a food/bar area. Food is actually very good. Had a BLT and also some quesadillas. Right next door is a restaurant called the Back Porch. So convenient and they have fantastic food. Walmart is like a mile away. We just loved relaxing at the beach and pool. Early in the morning for sunrises, I would see dolphins out in the water. During our stay the grounds crew were planting new plants and always working on maintaining the grounds. I can't see a better location in Destin than this area. My kids already want to book another trip.

Did not mention construction on roof. Every morning starts at 6:00 am with noise. Host cannot get ahold of anyone. Neighbors come to our door trying to figure it out. This is not time I can get back with my family. They do not care. Just want your $$
