Fairfield Inn and Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport

We stayed here prior to a cruise out of FLL port. It was very clean and check in was easy. They offered shuttles to the port and airport if needed. The continental breakfast in the morning had lots of options and was very good. We would stay here again! It was easy to get to the port and an overall great location.

We arrived to stay 1 night before taking a Transatlantic cruise. Jose, I believe, was his name, was very pleasant, cordial, & patient checking in several guests like us who arrived on their Free Airport Shuttle (tip driver :) ). We were provided 1st right room on right hallway. So easy to get to with our luggage. Since we had flight delays i wanted to have dinner sooner than later. Well, they have a restaurant for drinks, sandwiches, deserts, etc. After taking bags to room we went to their lobby restaurant & offered delicious sandwiches & dessert. Manager/server was also very pleasant & professional. I think the restaurant was open till 10pm & it was about 9pm. We didn’t need to leave the premises to find a quick & delicious meal to end the evening. There were quite a few people having dinner & drinks too. Our room was recently renovated & was perfect in every way. I thought we would hear a lot of noise as room was on 1st floor close to lobby area but we didn’t. They offer a free breakfast too but we only had coffee since we ate dinner late so can’t provide feedback on the breakfast. We will be staying there again in a few months!

I stayed only one night because I was heading to another destination. I had made my reservation well in advance, but unfortunately I arrived very late, around 1:00 a.m., and the hotel was already fully booked. For that reason I was assigned the only room available, a room for people with disabilities on the first floor. Overall, the hotel looked clean and had a good atmosphere, but the room had several drawbacks. The TV didn't work, the bathroom door didn't close properly and the room looked a little old and unkempt, although it was clean. In the shower, I don’t know if because of the type of room, the water would come out and end up flooding much of the bathroom. The best thing about the experience was definitely the staff. From the reception girls to the breakfast ladies, everyone was extremely friendly, attentive and always with a smile, both at check-in and check-out. Breakfast was normal. Although the hotel was completely full, there was always food available and the area was well catered for. What I liked the most were the pancakes that you prepare yourself in the machine; they were delicious.
