Clean but older property. Excellent beach view and access.

Our stay at island echoes was nothing but stressful and cock roach infested. After the place was fumigated it stunk and right out in the open was a half dead huge cock roach. We were shuffled around all week and never could unpack. The only communication was when we stopped what we were doing and went to the office. Just to get were sorry but no action. Light fixtures were dirty and in serious need of a deep cleaning and updating.

Island Echos is one of my favorite places to stay on Okaloosa Island. I love the family atmosphere. It always is clean. I have always stayed in larger condos until this time. This was a one bedroom, one bath condo. There were only four towels in the condo. I’ve never had that issue before. There were four of us so as you can see it quickly became an issue. There was also no washer or dryer and I’ve never stayed in one without a washer dryer before either. This particular unit 5D also needed a little TLC. There was a broken chair. I told them it needed to removed. They never did come. A little paint and such would also help update the unit.
