Beach Cottages

Booked an air b and b. Property is hotel condo set up. Basic unit amenities, no spices, one roll of paper towels, 4 rolls of toilet paper to spilt in 2 bathrooms. Travel size shampoo and conditioner in both bathrooms, one bar of soap. One dishwasher tablet. This is not your standard air b and d but seems like a rental unit. We had one toilet down for 24 hours before maintenance could come. 2 lamps have no lightbulbs, floors appeared to be under clean standards. Front acces code to building changed without proper notification to us. Communication to the property management company was was very challenging. There were beach chairs etc, but very sandy and even broken. This is not an air b and b issue but the mgmt company that runs property. There is no staff at location to assist. Each unit is individually owned but our unit not satisfactory. Beach location is excellent, parking good on site, groceries not convenient to get, convience store 2 miles, nothing walking distance. Our unit is big and sleeps 6 comfortable. Ask for ocean front. You can Uber to everything within 10 miles.

We left Florida and our stay at Beach Cottage 1 on February 14, 2025. We stayed for a week at this location. Room was ok, a little run down. Pool was over run with children and the condo next door was in the middle of a renovation or repair most likely from hurricane damage in the fall- was quite noisy. Our review would have been a 3 star review but as we were packing our van to leave a situation occurred that left a horrible taste in our mouths. A bearded man in the parking garage, believed to be a worker of the property was accosting 2 ladies. I don’t know the situation but regardless of what happened there was no reason for this man to use the tone and gesture he did. One of the ladies was an older woman and we couldn’t believe that someone would talk to someone like that, let alone an older woman. People pay big money to stay at beach front locations especially during the prime season. The staff at this place definitely need coaching and direction on ‘customer service’. Absolutely terrible. We booked through Airbnb and we won’t be back. Renters beware.

Its was a nice place to stay for around 6 people but anymore if very cramped. It was very clean and was very well decorated and put together. I would definitely recommend if your wanting a nice trip to the beach. It has its own beach access and a nice swimming pool and hot tub. Everyone there is also super friendly.
