Comfort Inn Mayport

We stayed at the Quality inn Atlantic Beach FL for two days. There was hardly any water pressure, so taking a shower was extremely difficult. I spilled some water on the floor and wiped it up with a napkin and the napkin was gray/ black!!! Very dirty floors that had not been washed in a very long time. I will never stay at this hotel again!!!

We booked a one night stay here and arrived at around 7 PM. The room stank profusely of a unknown smell. After settling in we started watching TV. Suddenly a bug was spotted on the face of the TV Set! My wife quickly identified it as a full grown German Cockroach. Fear struck in our hearts immediately hoping that none of these had made their way into any of our belongings.. I got a canned lip service response from the Hotel manager advising that contacting the front desk should be done with any problem. That is exactly what we did. We were not going to accept any other room here knowing the behaviour of this nasty pest. The manager was extremely rude. Had no compassion or sympathy for this shocking situation. He defended the hotel stating that “its a hotel”. lots of different people stay here. He stated the room had been inspected and that no sign of any roaches was found. Well, if he know anything about the issue, he would know that you would not find any sign of the roaches unless you spent time there in the dark when they come out. So by his ignorance this problem will persist for the next unlucky patron. A total slap in the face to their customers. The attitude displayed here shows the lack of careand concern for the overall condition of this establishment. NEVER STAY HERE!

This is a great hotel not far from the beach. The rooms are clean and very nice for a Quality Inn! I loved the pool and my husband was impressed by the very large TV in the room. The staff was friendly and recommended a few places to eat in the area. We will be back!!
