Hampton Inn & Suites Jacksonville Florida

I never write a review but it is appropriate to do so now. I accidentally booked this hotel instead of the one we usually book. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by Kayla who was professional, helpful and cheerful. Such a delight. The room was fantastic. In the morning we went down for breakfast expecting the usual waffle, yogurt etc. Were we surprised! This was a smorgasbord of real food, served up by the most pleasant woman (Brenda). I was introduced to the general manager (Carlos) and told him what wonderful people he was fortunate to have working with him. On the way out, we met Candi who was just as professional and cheerful - surprised again that all the employees seemed happy to be there and happy we were there. We come down to Jax 5-6 times a year and this is the only place we will stay. Kudos to the hiring manager. The people make or break an establishment and you hired the best! Thanks to all for such a wonderful time. See you very soon!

This is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel in the past 30 days. Although they are renovating, I still come because the friendly atmosphere that it provides. Kayla at the front desk is absolutely amazing as she treats me and my children, as though we are and always welcome. It feels very good when someone at a front desk knows you by name even at the seeing hundreds and hundreds of guest at a time,Kayla needs the biggest raise in the world and also the two young ladies over the breakfast and food. Staff have been phenomenal as well. I suggest everyone come to this hotel because of the professional professionalism that they provide.

We stayed here for the ASUN softball tourney earlier this month. Raffy and his team were amazing. Despite going through renovations, they worked hard to make our team’s stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our rooms were clean and housekeeping was top notch. Mrs. Brenda checked in on us each morning during breakfast and was very warm and welcoming. This Hampton is located in a prefect spot close to almost everything. I can’t wait to see how everything looks after getting a little facelift. We will be staying here again!
