HOLIDAY INN JACKSONVILLE S-9A

We recently stayed 2 nights here while on a mini-vacay to visit family. Some of the plusses of our stay were: Good amount of shaded (trees) parking, very quiet in the hallways & in our room, the a/c worked well (but was a bit noisy), good water pressure in the bathroom - even on the 5th floor, the elevators were quick, the Inn was clean inside & out, a good restaurant by the lobby serving 2 meals/day, & the nice touches of giving us bottled water & mints at check-in & our final bill/receipt placed under the room door prior to check-out.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with our family. It offered excellent value for the price and was much cleaner than most hotels we’ve stayed at. Most importantly, the staff made our experience truly special. Justin was always happy to help us with anything we needed, and he did so with a genuine smile. Last but certainly not least, Mr. Zee at the bar was absolutely outstanding. What an incredible employee! Our plans for the first day completely changed because we ended up spending five hours at his bar — definitely a record for us. My husband and I are very passionate about wine, and we were pleasantly surprised by his impressive wine knowledge. Although the bar didn’t have an extensive wine selection, he made us the best smoked Old Fashioneds with port wood. He also played 80s rock music videos that brought us right back to our 20s, The burgers were delicious as well. We will definitely be coming back to see him on our next visit.

We always enjoy stopping at this Holiday Inn. We usually take a one-day break here while traveling to our vacation home in Vero Beach. This time, we stayed a little longer to attend a Bills game and do some shopping. We love the restaurant, Burgers and Brews. While the bartenders are not always the most experienced, this visit was a pleasant surprise thanks to Mr. Zee. He was absolutely amazing and truly made our stay and time at the bar special. We will definitely be back soon.
