Homewood Suites Jacksonville-Baymeadows

This place is horrible! It smells like cigarettes, weed, and ass! Its so dirty!! We found rose petals, used condom under bed and sofa chair and pubes in the bathroom. We asked for the cleaning staff to come back and clean or offer us a clean room. We were promised housekeeping will clean up...they never did. We ended up leaving 4 days early! the so called kitchen didnt even work. I have no idea how trivago got a 4 star on this hotel. Its more like a sleezy motel! Could hear people come in and out all night long. STAY AWAY!

To whom it may concern, We’ve been staying at this hotel for a few weeks now, and we’ve encountered many problems during our stay - both with the staff and our current rooming conditions. The people at the front desk are rude and unprofessional, and the managers are equally as intolerable when it comes to interacting with paying customers. We’ve filed multiple complaints regarding faulty Air Conditioning, Mold, Broken amenities, strange odors, and received no form of compensation or help. The staff at the front desk had us change rooms on three separate occasions, but the problems continued in every single living space we were sent to. And when we brought it to their attention, they promised to send a “maintenance” team that never came, and refused to acknowledge their lack of judgement or integrity when questioned about this later. I have numerous health conditions, and both of my children are present in the room, as well as my husband. We don’t feel safe staying in these sort of conditions, and I will be reporting these issues directly to the Health Department. Not only is this hotel jeopardizing our health, but also the safety and health of others by leaving these problems unchecked. I have photographic evidence of everything I mentioned prior in this email, as well as other unsafe hazards that were present in the rooms we resided in. At the very least, an apology and some form of compensation would be deeply appreciated. The conditions and treatment we received during our stay is beyond unacceptable, and our concerns deserve to be addressed.

We will NEVER EVER stay here again! The entire room smelled of smoke, HORRIBLE. A window had been left open prior to our arrival (during a storm) so the bedroom floor was wet, the refrigerator was rusted & leaked all over the kitchen floor. The walls are thin & we're pretty sure there was a hooker in the next room. The building is beautiful but everything was dirty including the hallway walls & floors. This place wouldn't even be good as a homeless shelter.
