Super 8 Motel- Central

Hands down, the single rudest, most unpleasant experience I've ever had at a hotel. After traveling many, many hours (and booking a room well in advance) they first tried to double charge us for TWO rooms! When we told them we only paid for one, they went ahead & canceled BOTH rooms -- over our protests -- right on the July 4 weekend!! (Fortunately, we found a better, cleaner & $50 cheaper room at Hampton Inn. But we ABSOLUTELY could've been stranded by their lack of professionalism.) The manager wasn't even on-property to help us (never once saw him) & the "lady" in charge of the Front Desk was rude, insulting & made us wait while she sat outside & sucked down her cigarettes lol. I'll never go back. (And with all the sketchy people walking up & down the property, I doubt if it's safe for families.)

I wish I could give this place a zero.. I am actually still stuck here.. This place is sooooo run down and the property not the rooms look anything like the online pictures.. The room smelled so bad when I checked in I had to leave the door open for over an hour and there is no WiFi nor a pool.. I have been trying to speak to someone at the front desk for over an hour and no one is even working in there.. The lobby door STAYS locked so business is conducted through a slot in the window.. I even had a hooker knock on my door to offer her services.. I can’t wait for my truck repairs to be completed so I can get out of here.. I will be running, not walking..

We were first put in a smoking room, when we had requested a non-smoking room. Then we were told we had to call the booking service in order to get a room change. In the new room the handle fell off the shower when we tried to turn it on. The blow dryer didn't work and we were told they couldn't replace it because it was Sunday. The bathroom door did not close leaving a 2" gap. In the third room the blow dryer worked and the handles didn't fall off, but the bathroom door had a 4" gap to close. DO NOT GO HERE!
