Alexander Palms Court

Pretty place. Nice welcome. Good location. Ask the hostess about the sargassum before going there. The south coast is devastated. Be careful, at the exact time of check-out, the electricity is cut off 😳.

I am shocked at the reviews I read now that we’ve stayed here. The floors are filthy. There is no bolt or chain lock that works on the door. There was just the regular lock you turn. I’ve uploaded just some of the photos I took. We’ve stayed in Key West prior elsewhere and had no issues. We also left this place on the final day and went to a new place we’d not stayed prior, and it was wonderful. There were tiny ants everywhere. We left no food out. We live in the south by the coast and leave nothing out at home (all open chips, bags of flour, snacks, etc are kept in ziplock bags at home) but with regular extermination, we don’t have the bugs. The ant traps everywhere should have been a foreshadowing. They were constantly on the counters, stove, and they crawled all over the fridge. There was a gap in the fridge as shown on the door and I saw them come out of the gap. I found dead ones in the fridge. In the middle of the night I picked up my telephone in the bedroom and saw them crawling all over the phone and end table. I talked to the management also and was provided a can of Raid spray that I then sprayed everywhere multiple times a day. It provided maybe an hour or two of relief at a time. There’s no excuse for the lack of maintenance and cleanliness. The location and pool are getting the one star. The hotel is a zero. .

We absolutely loved Alexander Palms Court! Walking distance from Duval St and other attractions, this little place has about 8 units surrounding a nice pool. Clean, comfortable and casual. If you're seeking high end lodging this is not for you. If you like cozy, comfortable and unpretentious stay here! Pam, the on-site manager during our stay was a delight! She helped us decide where to go (and not go!) for dining, etc. We felt safe and appreciated at Alexander Palms Court!
