DOUBLETREE SUITES BY HILTON ME

I am writing to formally report a severe breach of privacy, safety, and basic hospitality protocol that occurred during my stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront. On Thursday, July 23, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM, a member of your housekeeping staff walked directly into my room while I was unclothed, completely exposing my bottom half. The employee did not knock, did not announce herself, and failed to follow standard entry safety procedures. I had not checked out of the room, and my checkout time had not passed. Proper hotel protocol dictates that housekeeping must wait until a guest has officially checked out, or at the absolute minimum, knock loudly and announce themselves clearly before opening a door. Walking into an occupied room without warning and exposing an unclothed guest is completely unacceptable and caused me immense embarrassment and distress. I expect this incident to be thoroughly investigated immediately using your electronic lock audits to identify the employee involved. Due to the severe nature of this privacy violation, I also expect a formal apology and a meaningful resolution from your management team. I look forward to your prompt response. Sincerely, Karen

This hotel is very nice: clean, great location, great rooms with a great view and very nice employees. Food is a bit pricey and their coffee has a lot to be desired, even though they just started a new brand trying to improve on it; my recommendation in this day and age is to get a coffee shop in the hotel, as they already have outside customers using their beach area by entering through the hotel.

Hilton owned are always the best. Very comfortable here, plush beds, restaurant, bar, nice pool, on the beach. Ate at the restaurant twice. Clean, fantastic views.
