Hotel St. Michel

Middle of Coral Gables business and shopping district! Room small but exquisitely designed and decorated! Bathroom marble slab and mosaic 1920’s chic! Right above the best Italian restaurant in Miami, Zuca! Perfect evening after a long trip, fabulous dinner, up one flight in the period elevator, crash in a wonderfully comfortable beautiful room. Next day all rested and ready for business.

Coral Gables is a nice place to spend a few days and the Hotel St. Michel is a great place to stay while there. The hotel has a very nice old world ambiance, good service, and comfortable rooms. We very much enjoyed our time there and hope to be back again sometime.

Conveniently located, quaint, charming and clean; the price point at this very European historic hotel makes it a very good choice for anyone seeking a unique accomodation in Coral Gables. We had a lovely dinner and very pleasant breakfast at the hotel restaurant, Zucca, and as with hotel staff found both waitresses both professional and amicable. The prices were a bit high but not exorbitant given the quality of food and romantic fine dining ambiance. Regarding our specific room in the hotel, 206, it was quiet and comfortable but the pretty bathroom was really tiny. We were told that other rooms have larger bathrooms and we will request one of those when we return. And we will return.
