Traditional hotel in Miami Beach with small rooms, no view but rather high price. Beautiful bathroom with large shower. The restaurant offers great Italian food. They provide beach towels, an umbrella and beach chairs.

The Marlin Hotel is excellently located and I consider the location one of its main attributes, along with the charm of the historic building and the convenience of beach towels provided for guests. However, the rooms are not very spacious (for travelers with large luggage), and the amenities are provided in smaller quantities compared to other hotels. Also, the Sicilian lemon scent in the corridors is a bit stronger than it should be. The staff is very friendly and helped us very well.

This is a reference that will express mixed feelings. Let me start on a positive note: Marlin is a comfortable, pleasant, charming hotel in a great location in Miami Beach. It has an excellent restaurant on the ground floor and is within walking distance of ocean drive, lots of art deco and some fine restaurants for breakfast or dinner. So actually highly recommended! You're not. Despite a clear booking we were faced with extra costs on arrival after a long journey. Not just a state of local tax but a resort fee that added 15-20% to the room rate. You have to sign for this or you won't get a key. The next morning we only realized that we had also been given a smaller room than we had booked. Our room was given away of course because we arrived late. Only two days later we got the room we booked. We felt fooled by these two experiences. And we will not return to the Marlin.
