With a 14 hour layover in Miami having travelled from London then leaving first thing in the morning I merely wanted something clean, friendly and affordable.
I booked the room at 8pm and was in bed by 9.
White sheets. And comfy bed. Hot water and TV worked,
An old school motel like you see in the movies.
The stand out point was the kindness and assistance of the receptionist Juan. He leant me his phone charger. Escorted me to the room to show around and sorted out my 5am taxi back to the airport.
Would I stay here for a romantic break? Definitely not.
I will stay here if I ever have to lay-over in Miami in future.
