Red Roof Inn Pensacola East - Milton

This is a very old run down facility. The he walls are all caulked and the pain is worn and chipped all around the doors. He entry is not bad, the elevator is slow )3 floors). The room was so worn out, smelled moldy. Had new flooring but all baseboards are falling apart. The bathroom is disgusting, tub surround and baseboards are falling off and moldy.

Everything was great, just very little variety for breakfast.

Yep, it’s cheap — sort of like camping, but with more dirt. The front desk staff was friendly, which I appreciated, but that’s about where the positives end. I should’ve known better. Some reviews mentioned the place was clean, but that wasn’t my experience at all. The room felt old and dirty, the hardwood floors were sticky (I didn’t even want to take my shoes off), and both the elevator and stairs looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. The beds were broken (in?) The grounds were littered with cigarette butts everywhere. There’s just no pride of ownership here. We knew it was a budget stay and only needed a quick place for the night, so we took our chances instead of driving 20 more minutes to Pensacola. Pro tip: drive a bit longer and skip this place.
