Ramada Bayside New Port Ritchey

DO NOT BOOK here the place is a dump the hotel is being demolished in a month or two in replace of condominiums appears to be being used as a homeless shelter currently owners will not refund despite the despicable condition of the property it’s absolutely disgusting you’ve been WARNED !!!!

Shame on me for not reading any reviews from Trip Advisor about this hotel before I booked it through a Delta Airlines travel promotion. Where to start? The lobby is shabby, rundown and dirty, with abrupt and rude staff. I asked where the advertised complimentary breakfast was served, the check in person just snorted and laughed at me, saying “oh we stopped serving breakfast during Covid”. Our “non-smoking room” smelled like a week old ashtray, which prompted me to walk next door to the Publix to buy Lysol and Febreze air freshener. The room had no bathroom door, the sink was cracked and the malfunctioning toilet ran all night long. When we told the front desk person about all of the issues the next morning, she yawned, stretched and said she’d write down all of the items that were broken/ missing.

Smelly walkways & room overlooks the marina, but also the bar and a loud band. Not a place to rest thatz for sure. Now I understand the rate! But if you want to drink, listen to crappy music, and stay awake all night this is your place in NPR FL……..
