Coastal Waters Inn

Beware!!! The shower curtain was covered in mold and disgusting. The blankets had stains. The couch was covered in stains. The floor was a trip, hazard, uneven, and lifting up. The floor needs to be replaced. They need to hire a new cleaning company. The room was quite and the bed was comfortable.

STAY AWAY ALERT!!! There is a reason why an ocean front property has 3,7 Google reviews soon to be even lower. Their customer experience is HORRIBLE!!! ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Read that again. They hode behind text messages it took me th e better part of a day to get the "Manager" on the phone who told me that my $200++ Reservation wasnt valuable to him. He thinks hiding behind text messages is acceptable isnted of actually providing excellent customer service. Dont be fooled by the Ocen Front this is Lipstick on a Pig and thats exactly what you get for customer service. Please, do yourself a favor and steer very clear of this nasty dump! It is horrific! Falsely advertised as it looks NOTHING like the pics online, way overpriced and honestly should be condemned! I am in process of trying to get reimbursed because it was so bad and is a definite health hazard for multiple reasons. It has been severely water damaged and the owner has not fixed anything. I have never stayed at a worse hotel. First, upon arrival, the foul odor in the lobby nearly knocked us over. That was the first indicator that it was not going to be good. Once we got in our room, (which was a struggle due to the corrosion on the door keypad) what we found inside the unit was deplorable. The smell of water damage and filth permeated the entire room. Every inch was filthy, and in disrepair. The kitchen was grimy, floors were covered in sand & dirt, the wall next to the stove was burned, knobs on stove missing, revealing only metal posts, cooktop had crud and sticky stuff all over, barely any dishes or utensils, and the ones there were in the cabinet were dirty. The counter tops and cabinets were all cracked and appliances in need of replacing badly. Outside the slider door there were broken chairs and garbage piled up. There were cockroaches and silverfish in every room, along with so much dirt and grime on the floors, it was disgusting. The bathroom had hair in the shower, the floor covered in filth, only 2 worn out towels, mold along the toilet base and shower, shower head was zip tied to the shower and there was an old toothbrush lodged between the toilet and shower, covered with dust and cobwebs, so who knows how long it's been there. Gross!!! There is no air conditioning in the bedroom, so you're forced to leave door open. The pull out couch had no bedding available, and we notified the office of this, as well as the condition of unit, but no response until morning. There is NO staff or management on the property or available by phone to handle problems, by the way, and you are left to just keep sending messages that don't get timely responses. Once we finally heard from the property the next morning, they offered to put us in a different room. That room smelled worse than the 1st room and was equally nasty, so we were unable to stay the 2 remaining nights we had already paid for! We have tried contacting them regarding a refund, but there has been zero response, as there is no one on the property to speak to. We are pursuing legal action at this point.
