Bahama Bay Resort by Wyndham Vacation Rentals

Wow, this was such a great stay. The resort is very chilled with beautiful grounds and pools, along with the beach and lake. We stayed in 26106 which was a 3 bedroom apartment. It needs a little bit of updating but it was very clean and a lovely place to spend the week.

This was our 2nd stay at Bahama Bay. Again we had a wonderful holiday, the resort is excellently maintained with beautiful grounds to explore. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor and had a lovely view towards one of the 4 pools. We sat every morning on the balcony having breakfast watching the amazing wildlife including nesting hawks. The staff are very helpful, nothing is too much trouble! The security staff on the gate do a great job and are very friendly and welcoming. The resort is in a brilliant location for accessing everything Florida has to offer including Disney, Unisversal, the coast and also places off the tourist route. You are near supermarkets, shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

On the face of it, the condo looked very nice. However it quickly became apparent that guest comfort is not the priority here. Sofa and chair have long lost any bounce they had. So you just fall straight into the bottom. We needed pillows to try and get any modicum of comfort. Ice machine in the fridge doesn’t work. Pans were so old we went and bought some. Towels are so thin they’re not worth having. Bed was so soft, again lost any spring it may have had. We’re already booked into our chiropractor when we get home!! Resort is ok, but again, look twice and there is many signs of this resort being tired and in much need of updating. I would not come back and would advise against this resort
