I wanted to write this review as prior to our visit I was getting paranoid about visiting this accommodation. We had apartments A and B and yes they are older but they are extremely clean. The apartments had everything we needed. We visited as a family of 5. My son used the living room in apartment B as his room and even the sofa bed was comfortable. We all found the beds comfortable. Yes the bathrooms need updated but they were very clean and once we got used to the steps we had no issues getting in and out. I have fibromyalgia and even I managed once I for used to it and with the help of the rails. We did find the taps to be the opposites of each other eg hot was cold and cold was hot. Showers worked well. We didn’t use the kitchen but it had plenty of everything and we even asked for a kettle and that was provided also. The washing machine and tumble dryer were used much more than we had imagined and it was ideal to have them. My two children enjoyed using the pool on a number of occasions. The local of this apartment was perfect for our stay and even walked across to a few of the bars and restaurants. We would definitely visit again.

I was close to cancelling the hotel having read previous reviews saying it was awful. However it is located exactly where I wanted (close to CrossFit Mousetrap which is two min away and made it easy for me to continue training) The location is also very convenient for bars and eateries with Starbucks, Hooters, an Irish bar, Denny’s, IHOP, Olive garden all within a 5 minute walk. The room is outdated but perfectly functional - the air con works well, the shower works well, the bed is comfortable, the sofa bed is comfortable, the dishwasher oven fridge etc all work fine, the kitchen is well stocked with plates and glasses and jugs and trays etc. It was great to have a washer and dryer in my room - I didn’t want to traipse to some communal laundry room every night, looking for quarters. Being British I had no idea what to do with the coffee maker and asked for a kettle to make a cup of tea and they happily obliged with one round at my door within 10 minutes. The two gents on reception have both been extremely helpful and accommodating. The downside - I am in an interconnecting room (Cyprus 814 A) and the noise has been unbearable at times. One night a family left their dog in the room for 6 hours unattended and it cried and howled til 11pm when they returned. The inter connecting rooms are like the other family are in your room with you. Every time one checks out I pray the next one to check in doesn’t have kids because all I can hear is children yelling every night until 10.30/11pm. People seem to just let their children wail and scream regardless of having neighbours in a room next door. I would also concur that while the place isn’t filthy, it’s certainly not the cleanest either. Inside the rooms are clean enough, but things like the outside of windows are mucky. The pool looks a bit grubby. There is a small gym with a treadmill and an elliptical and a couple of weight machines and yoga mats. Perhaps a few free weights would improve the facility easily without much cost? All things considered I would definitely return, it’s been an enjoyable stay and the room had everything we needed at a very reasonable cost - but next time I would specify please don’t give me a room that’s got a connecting door to another room.
