Destiny Palms Hotel

As a solo international traveller, I just wanted to shout out the team who went above & beyond when I lost my bag travelling via train. They assisted me with an early check-in (much appreciated after 30hrs on no sleep) and then called the train company on my behalf to help locate and get my bag delivered to the hotel. I booked this room last minute, very competitive price. Thank you.

Our stay was decent. Staff was very nice. It had a little bit of a moldy smell, but not too overpowering. We booked because of the amazing reviews on other sites. I can see how it was very beautiful at one point, but it needs some updating. The property needs some landscaping done. No breakfast, but coffee was always hot and ready when we wanted it. Getting to the hotel was a little confusing, it’s not well marked and hard to find a drive that leads to the parking lot. Housekeeping was every other day. Beds were very comfortable and room was kept very cool.

Worst hotel possible. Absolutely disgusting. Looks like this hotel was underwater. Needs to be shut down. Horrible smell of mold and very humid. Found bed bug poop under the bed, stained sheets, mold and rust on all fixtures. Shower was never cleaned and bed felt wet and damp. At night you can hear everyone entering the hotel and close to the street. Staff did not even care. We were suppose to stay for 5 days and only stayed 1 night.
