Best Resort for young families at WDW. So, about 20 years ago, we took my family (two young kids) to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Now, bigger family with two grandkids we are back. Perfect place for high value excitement for small ones. The decor. The view. The animals right outside your window. I told my g-kids we were staying at a hotel built inside a zoo! They loved it.
Extras I noticed this go around. Super easy laundry with direct to phone pay and monitor. Great food on Disney meal plan downstairs by the pool.
One drawback that should be considered is this resort has only bus or shared ride service transport to and from parks. While the kids liked riding the bus, it adds time to your schedule each day.
