Embassy Suites Orlando Airport

I was really fond of the staybridge brand until staying in this hotel. The hallways are hot and stinky and smell like stale cigarette smoke and really need some air circulation. The room has a tiny little table and no desk. I can’t breathe without coughing in my room because the stink of cigarettes and deodorizer. It is the worst cigarette smell I’ve experienced in a room in decades outside of Vegas. And it is marked as a non smoking room. I asked where the laundry room was and was told second floor but there are no signs directing you to it. Actually the posted floor plans on that floor show the laundry room incorrectly located by an electrical room somewhere where there isn’t even a room. The dryer filters are falling apart and consist of sharp pieces of plastic and duct tape. Half the washers were filled with detergent or scum indicating they weren’t working well. The washers and dryers smelled funny. If you offer free laundry as a signature service to guests as part of your brand you need to maintain them. Overall this hotel was an extreme disappointment and I’m just looking forward to checking out.

The location is in a decent area, however the lighting around the hotel could be improved. The staff is pretty good , the food staff worked hard and kept tables and eating area cleaned. The room we stayed in had older tv's that weren't smart just basic. The channels were really basic and didn't have many options. In the bedroom there was a 32 inch for two queen beds. There needs to be a broom and dust pan. The cleaning staff comes around in the morning and a mess can't wait to be cleaned until they arrive. Taller trash cans for a place that encourages extended stays. Bathroom was clean and hotel was very peaceful and quiet.

2nd visit here in 12 months. This time as a solo traveller coming for a well deserved break Hotel is in a peaceful, picturesque setting and despite being a lone female I felt incredibly safe at all times. Reception staff were awesome, so friendly and welcoming Loved my room - 215. Spotlessly clean, super comfortable bed and very quiet. Spent 4 days by the pool - in between shopping and meeting friends. Most times I was the only one there and it was so relaxing. Hot tub was hot! Pool clean and plenty of loungers and towels. Breakfast was good with decent choices Other guests seemed very well behaved, never heard any loud screeching or music, banging doors etc Plenty of free parking Free laundry. Excellent location Will definitely be back
