Grand Orlando Palms

I went to this place expecting the free continental breakfast only to find the restaurant closed. We arrived 30 minutes early and we were told we had to wait because it wasn't ready . We came back to the 4 o'clock check and was told we had to wait 20 minutes. We ended up getting our room at 5 o'clock. When we finally got our room my 74 year old wife and son was almost hit by some type of tiling that construction workers we're throwing down where they were standing. A young boy came over and threw a hammer to a worker upstairs over the top of my wife. We had to wait until they were done to get into the room. Extension cords on the side walk with no tape over it. The Condo, Hotel has bugs . The staff is rude and tells me I have to complain to the booking agent. They speak 4 words , ( call your booking agent.) The bar experience was more than I could write on the review. People be aware of this place. Going to court to try and stop having hotels and booking agents from not providing up to date information on the pool and breakfast not being part of we hat people are paying for. We should be allowed to know before booking if their amenities aren't being offered at that time.

Our room was clean and easy to find. The hotel is located by a chinese buffet two buildings over, a Dollar Tree, Aldi and much more. Everything is in walking distance and there is a shuttle bus that comes on property. The pool stays open late to about 10pm and you can sit outside on the patio with umbrella tables. We stayed 3 weeks and enjoyed our visit to Florida.

I love this place. At the time it could be rented as GREENPOINT but I think they have closed the concession and today most of their rooms are by Airbnb. I go from 2019 every year and I do NOT change it. The place is right. Just like the pictures. Very friendly reception staff and always ready to help when you consult something. Breakfast is approx USD 12 that if not worth it. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The pool super large and always in optimal condition. Parking without charge. As detailed above nowadays it is rented by Airbnb so read the reviews well before. For example, the theme of the cleanliness and state of how you find the room may vary by host. This year they added mic service that takes you to the parks at no charge! That's great since only parking in the disney or universal parks is USD 30 x day!
