Holiday Inn Express Hotel Suites Orlando International Drive

This was a pretty good hotel! We got two separate rooms for our family and they were able to put us close to each other. We enjoyed the free breakfast, but the breakfast area could have used a cloudless more tables, but they did open more space outside the meeting room on our last day. The breakfast buffet was well staffed. The staff at the front desk told us that the shuttle system was working, but it didn’t arrive in 15 minutes, so we just ended up taking an Uber to Epic Universe. The room cleaning service missed one night in one of our rooms, but was consistent other than that. The staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were good. It can be a little hard to find the driveway off of International Drive. It’s pretty close to Universal and about 10-15 minutes away from Epic Universe.

Both elevators have issues and people even got stuck. Same breakfast every morning. Our last morning they knock on door at 8:55 and say oh you’re still here when we open the door! When check out isn’t till 12. When you first check in someone is trying to sell you tickets to the theme parks yet don’t tell you that you gotta sit through a 90 minute tourist trap speech. After a 12 hour ride we we only wanted to get to our room and rest. Honestly not happy with them at all. Front desk person just acted like they weren’t even happy to be there.

We had a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orlando International Drive. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a very convenient location for getting around Orlando and visiting the attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was well kept and comfortable throughout our stay. The only downside for us was the limited food options at the hotel. While everything else was very good, it would have been nice to have a bit more choice available for meals or snacks. Overall, it’s a nice hotel in a good location, and we would still recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable stay on International Drive.
