Homewood Suites Universal Orlando

I cannot fault this hotel at all. They have thought of everything to make guests feel welcome and have a comfortable stay. Ideal base for families with children. Rooms, corridors, pool and all communal areas were spotless. Could be the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in! All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Kids enjoyed making Mickey Mouse waffles. Coffee and tea freely available in reception area throughout day and regularly refreshed. Kitchenette in room is fully stocked with glasses, plates, mugs, bowls, cutlery, pots and pans. There is a hob, large microwave, large fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. Detergent for dishwasher and dish soap provided along with dish towel and cloth. Suites are spacious with very comfortable beds. Air con and fan work really well. There are two laundry rooms with great machines. Also very clean! I would love to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

An absolutely brilliant experience at this hotel. We are a family of four (2 adults and 2 older teens). The suites were huge with a kitchenette and fridge. Tbh we only used the fridge as the included breakfasts were amazing and plentiful and loads of choice for eating out nearby. The hotel was very clean and provides a free shuttle to Universal which you book the day before. An Uber was generally under $10 and we walked back several times as was approx 20 minute walk. You will not go wrong booking this hotel.

I did a lot of research for our trip to Orlando, and came to the conclusion that the Homewood Suites nearest to Universal Studios was the best bet for our family of four. Its perfectly located on American Way, which leads onto International Drive. Its a lovely hotel with very friendly staff, got a great welcome from Jocelyn at the front desk. We had already logged in the night before on the Hilton App and chosen a room on the fifth floor overlooking the pool. Check in was quick. The room was lovely, spacious, modern and clean. Our suite had two large beds then a seperate Living/Kitchen area which had a sofa bed too. I had enquired about a pop up toaster before i arrived, and they said none was provided but there was one in our cupboards. Downstairs on the ground level they have a large dining area which serves a free buffet breakfast every morning. A good selection of cereals and breads every morning. Scrambled egg, and some pork products were every day along with hash browns. Youll meet a lovely lady called Nadia cleaning around the lobby each morning. The hotel has a nice pool and also a barbecue area where you can cook up your own food. Every wednesday evening from 5.30pm to 7pm they have a customer evening with some light snacks and complimentary wine/beer. They have a self service machine where you can tap your card for Beer and Wine, and their sister Hilton property opposite serves Bar food till 10pm each night. There is a free shuttle to Universal each morning and evening, There is a Universal desk within the hotel manned from 7am to 11am and you prebook the shuttle the day before hand, or sometimes you can get one same day if there is availability. The free shuttle collects you right outside the front door. The hotel has free parking and no resort fees. The lift is busy and slow, id recommend a lower level floor if you have stairs issues. Overall a great hotel, in a good location with friendly staff. Id higly recommed
