Knights Inn Maingate

We booked here because of its perfect location at what we thought was a great price. Until they charged us another $25/night fee that they claim is for pets we don’t own and didn’t bring. Pretty ironic considering we choose this since the booking website says it’s not pet friendly. But the good news is cockroaches stay free - we left some grapes on the counter and they were covered in roaches in the middle of the night. It probably didn’t help that the room was uncomfortably warm since they set some type of handicap on the air conditioner (no, it’s not broken or overworked - multiple reviews mention this problem). We tried the breakfast a couple times. It looked like a decent continental spread but at 8am, they were no longer replenishing it. They had cereal and bread left but no milk or butter/ cream cheese. So unless you get here super early, don’t bother. No housekeeping service is provided. They exchanged our hotels just once in four nights and took until the third to replace the shampoo bottle we informed was empty shortly after we checked in (since all I wanted was a shower after traveling all day). Most of the guests appeared to be long term tenants. The unit near mine had kids bikes & toys scattered out front. Multiple guests stayed outside their room all day chugging beer or whatever - even in the hot 90 heat. The person across from us grilled their food nightly on the cement. Pretty sketchy. The laundry room had a stench so nasty we walked out. Given all this, no way would I try out the pool. But it looked nice. Bottom line - there’s tons of gr eat low priced hotels within the area. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere, these people certainly don’t care about their guests and will scam you.

I stayed with my wife and daughter 13 for 3 nights, the experience was excellent, especially because it is close to shops, shopping malls, supermarkets, and 12 minutes from Disney parks, WIFI always available, everything clean, met everything described on their page, excellent toilet, full bathroom equipment and every day they made us change of bathroom linen and cleaned the room, parking in front of each room, 24 hour attention, punctual and super complete breakfast (there are cereals, juices, coffee, milk, sandwich, hotcake, fruits, yogurt The only thing is k the kitchen had no utensils to prepare meals but we also did not ask if they lent them COST/BENEFIT RATIO EXCELLENT I RECOMMEND 100%.
