Renaissance Airport

Stayed here for a week and had an amazing experience. The shuttle drivers were so sweet and, both ways from the airport, I was the only one in the shuttle. The staff here are very friendly, and the room was spacious and clean. The restaurant also exceeded my expectations - the highlight was the bread pudding, which is the chef’s mother’s recipe!

We specifically stayed at this hotel to use the convenient Stay &Park package as we had previously done. Upon our arrival back to MCO after a red-eye flight, we contacted the hotel and were told to wait at a specific area at Terminal B. After waiting for over 30 minutes, we contacted the hotel again and were told we should have been waiting at Terminal A. We told the staff we had originally been told to wait at Terminal B. He said he didn't know why we were told that, but we needed to go to Terminal A. We told him we didn't know how to get there. He rattled off quick directions and then hung up. We were completely tired and frustrated at that point and paid for a taxi back to the hotel. At the hotel, we proceeded to tell the front desk staff about what happened and all they said was they were sorry, but they didn't know why that happened. I mentioned several times we had to pay for a taxi, but they didn't respond. Since that time, we have sent several emails to Marriott Bonvoy and to the Renaissance Orlando Airport Hotel, however, every email keeps being sent to someone else to handle. Nobody has addressed the issue of us paying out of pocket for a taxi and nobody seems to care that we have mentioned several times that we will not be staying at the hotel again. At this point, not only will we not be using the Orland hotel, but we are also considering not using any Marriott hotels since they have not shown any assistance in resolving the issues.

This hotel needs to be gut renovated! The rugs are filthy. The rooms smell. The furniture needs to be donated to goodwill. Honestly, never again. It was just too old and dirty for me. We only stayed there for the park and sleep, but ill do something else next time. After a grueling trip from Europe this was the last thing i needed. The carpet in my room was so gross ( and this was my second room. The first had mold in the thermostat and stunk like mildew. I requested a different room) that I didn't want to step on it at all. I kept my luggage on the tiled area. This is so below standards for the brand. I will never stay there again.
