The location, amenities, room views at this resort are absolutely breath taking! The rooms were very clean, spacious and a great value! Terry, the manager of the Ona restaurant showed the upmost care in my dining experience and facilitated a fabulous celebration for my 55th birthday! Raul, Ms Agnes aka Aggie and Ian were the perfect wait guest attendants. Ms Agnes is exceptional! Each of them gave perfection in customer service. Stefanie is the sweetest in the dessert shop and makes a great white chocolate mocha! My entire experience at this resort was top tier and definitely a 10 out of 10!

We stayed five nights in a two-bedroom Premium Sea View unit in July 2026. This was not our first stay. Previous problems had been handled well enough that we gave the resort another chance and returned with family. Unfortunately, this stay left us with the opposite impression. There were some positives: Jackson was somewhat helpful, and Yassine handled a difficult situation professionally and with genuine courtesy. Overall, however, the experience was far below what we expected from a Marriott resort marketed at this level. Front desk staff were actively encouraging guests to leave Google reviews and mention employees by name. That sits uncomfortably alongside Marriott later inviting us to submit a Verified Guest Review, then declining to publish our detailed negative review. Given this resort’s already weak rating on Marriott’s own site, prospective guests should bear that in mind when relying on the reviews presented. Our room had multiple maintenance problems from arrival which remained unresolved despite repeated engineering visits. Housekeeping was very poor. On one evening, one bed was partly made, others untouched, used towels bagged and left behind, and bins and bathrooms were not attended to. Items of value also disappeared from different areas of the room during housekeeping. Marriott replaced some but never explained what happened. The most serious issue concerned the pool/beach operation. One employee, apparently acting in a supervisory role, I personally witnessed becoming aggressively confrontational with guests, including children. In one incident, young children were visibly distressed and crying. I heard the employee introduce race into the argument, and security ultimately removed the employee from the immediate area. Later in our stay, the same employee used a term towards me that we found deeply racist, in front of guests and children. I declined to engage further and repeatedly asked to speak with management. I was told no managers were on site. Security then repeatedly threatened to call the police while I was waiting for a manager and supervising children in the water. We stopped using the beach and pool for the remainder of the stay. Had it not already been late in our visit, with family visiting from overseas, we would have left. Multiple families raised concerns about this employee during the stay: we did, our brother- and sister-in-law did, and we were present when another family reported a separate incident. The Resort Manager later characterized the conduct as essentially a mistake or misunderstanding and remained comfortable with the employee continuing to interact with guests and children. We did not share that assessment. A staff member also told us that busy weekends can involve discounted Groupon bookings and bringing in “whoever they can” from other properties or agencies. That was consistent with how disorganized the resort felt. On one occasion there was fecal contamination in the pool. We saw staff laughing and taking photos and video around the incident before it was finally dealt with. The rooms are large and there are some good employees, but in our experience the property was dirty and poorly maintained, housekeeping and operations were inconsistent, and the handling of serious guest-conduct issues was deeply disappointing. Based on what we personally experienced and witnessed over five nights, we would never return.

This is our favorite spot to vacation! It’s beautiful, convenient and the resort full of amenities and friendly staff! Rooms are amazing and clean, pools are fun for kids and adults alike and the beach is feet away! Plenty to do on “campus” as well as off in terms of restaurants etc.. I love Singer Island for its easy feel and the Marriott is the biggest reason for that easiness!! Thank you to all the staff for making vacations relaxing and memorable :)
