Emerald Beach Resort by The Resort Collection

Beware if you book with them do not get the travel insurance they offer as the company Co-Ordinated Benefit Plans, LLC is nothing but a scam, immediate death in the family and we had to cancel and neither place wants to refund our money or even discuss partial refund, I have stayed at other resorts (1st time using this one and definitely the last) with no issues and friendly staff, the person I spoke to when we had to cancel wasn’t friendly at all and didn’t seem to care.

We had a FANTASTIC time at Emerald Beach Resort in June 2025. The resort is nice and clean and the workers were friendly. The beach was nice, too. Parking was easy to find, you just have to take a sky bridge over Front Beach Road to get to the rooms. We were there in mid-June and could get the chair service at the beach pretty much anytime we wanted. Both pools were nice but we always went to the one gulf-side. We loved that they had a DJ playing music a few of the times we went down for a swim. Very fun! The resort also had games and karaoke in the sky bridge in the evenings. Everyone always looked like they were having fun as we walked by. The kitchens are roomy, was nice not to have to go out to eat too often. Negatives: Sometimes the elevators were a bit slow to arrive because of so many people riding them- usually mid-morning was worst, but it would not hinder our decision in coming back because they were only occasionally slow and that's to be expected. TIPS: Park on the 3rd floor if possible because that is the floor that connects the parking garage with the rooms, so it keeps you from having to ride 2 sets of elevators. Go have a milkshake at Mr. BG's Diner which is just kitty corner from the hotel- they are delicious and very reasonably priced. Their food is good too. We ordered pizza from Zollo's twice (also kitty corner from the hotel), it was also very good. It was a great family vacation! (More specifically, we stayed in room 1330 and the beds were very comfortable, not too firm, not too soft. The room had a lot of extra blankets and pillows which was VERY nice for our family. The kitchen was nicely stocked with cooking supplies. Great view from the balcony as would be all ocean facing rooms. We really liked being on the 13th floor because it is close enough for people watching but far enough away from the human noise.)

This is an add-on to a recent 5-star review of ths park. I want to deliver a separate review specifically to their maintenance staff. I have camped in over 200 parks and most of them have welcoming office staff...but not all the maintence folks display "go out of their way" customer service. I injured myself and couldn't walk. Enter Terry and Brett who went out of their way to assist my needs. They personally picked up my trash, put away heavy stuff for me and loaded my scooter onto the rack....they were so pleasant about it and actually eager to give me value-added service; a model in this business. Standouts like Terry and Brett are not easily found. I want to thank them and all the staff for their compassion and overall excellence of service.
