MOONDRIFTER CONDOMINIUMS

This condo was awesome! Right on the beach and overlooking the pool. The only issue was found was that sometimes the lock on the door did not want to lock. We just opened the door and shut it again and boom - it worked! Would stay here again!

First let me say I’m ok with dated as long as it’s clean and well maintained, this place was neither. There were holes on the walls, ceilings and doors. The patio doors were broken and so dirty you could barely see through them. Water on the kitchen floor when we arrived. The balcony which should be the only saving grace since you can see the beach was filthy. Now I get this is an outdoor space but it had stuff running down the wall, the table was thick with crud along with the floor. There were cheese curls laying on top of the refrigerator, you had to wear shoes at all times or your feet would be black. There was mold around the vents in the living room. A red stain was on the wall near a light switch (which is suppose to be cleaned well due to covid) and we literally just took a paper towel with water and it came off. So not feeling great about any cleaning efforts. The building itself wasn’t great, people were afraid on the elevators and the pool was dirty. My husband got in for maybe 5 mins then we noticed brown bubbles forming in the water. Yuck! There’s much more but I think you get it. The AC did work good and there was a newer washer and dryer that’s really all I can say good about it. I emailed two different places that had emailed me 3-4 times prior to my arrival, of course once I complained and asked for a refund I heard nothing back. We had to stay as we had booked 5 nights and since we couldn’t get a refund it was either go home or this one trip would have been outrageously costly. The pictures they have are very, very deceiving. I also took pictures and will share a few. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra not to stay here.

These are all pictures I wished I would have seen before booking. The floor was filthy. Something needs to be done about that floor. My kids feet were black within 10 minutes of walking through the place. I'm pretty sure the place was not properly cleaned. Stains on the couch. The master bath the sink was so stopped up, my husband pulled 4 tooth paste caps, a flossing thing, and mini shampoo bottle out of the drain just to get it to go down. we had to brush our teeth in the sink in the other bathroom. The internet password is not correct on the paper in the room (like whats the point in advertising internet if you can't use it. Thats so annoying) you have to go hunt down the security guard to get access to the password. Hes a nice guy. The toilet handle is broken so the toilet runs forever. The shower head isn't put on correctly so it sprays all over the ceiling that will eventually cause mold. The place is not kid friendly what so ever, cords hanging from the tv nothing covering them. Major fire hazzard 2 extension cords hooked together in one room. About 2 am the living room curtain fell and woke us all up. My husband jumped up ready to put a bullet between someone eyes. We couldn't get a movie to play properly on the TV every movie we tried to watch it kept on pausing. The stove was nasty, like it had not been properly cleaned ever. And roaches. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to leave my stuff outside before taking it in my home. The only good thing about this place is the view of the ocean, and how close to the ocean you are. I will never stay there again. I didn't expect perfect but I did expect if to be clean and safe. Especially for the amount of money we paid.
