Sterling Resorts- Grand Panama Beach Resort

Dig friendly but they are not allowed on the back side of the property so don’t think getting a first floor will be easy. You still have to walk them to the designated pet area and not out your back patio. Also, they insist on a bright yellow pet sleeve on the leash that has your room number displayed for everyone to see! No privacy laws here apparently! Also the rental company, Warren Beach Rentals, of my rental, refused to send out a HVAC company to fix the A/C that wouldn’t go below 72 degrees even at night! It was 76 degrees when I got there in the condo and they only sent their on site guy to clean it. Miserable nights of sweating!

First time going to Grand Panama that we rented through Air B&B and were thoroughly pleased. The resort is so clean and the pool is kept immaculate daily by three different guys who were so thorough. It was very family friendly, we had our daughter, son-in-law and our two grand babies. It was located in a perfect spot to get to everywhere we were going, Walmart. Pier Park, Goofy golf. Can’t wait to go back.

DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 1-601. Me and my family stayed in tower one in room 601 and had the worst experience. the check in was easy and quick but when we walked in the room is was hotter than it was outside so we turned the AC on and it cooled down for about 5 hours then went up to 78. We contacted the owner of the condo (these condos are privately owned) and she said someone would be out to look at it, at this point it was off the screen was black and no air at all was blowing. All he did was come and turn it on it was still at 78. So we turned it down again and nothing changed after a day. So we contacted her again and she moved us to another room FOR ONE NIGHT we had to be out by 11. Someone else came and looked at it and did the same thing just turned the screen on morning changed, so we reached out to her again. She had a whole other company come out and she contacted us and said this company said it needed to be replaced and she suggested we left( this was 3pm on friday) or moved our room for one night ( my 70 year old grandparents were with us we could not just move) but said someone would be out in the morning (the morning we were leaving ) to fix it. When the company came out that morning to replace it they informed us that they told her LAST WEEK it needed to be replaced because the people who stayed before us had problems with it too. And she gave us NO money back. We did not want all of our money back but some would’ve been very nice. She only cared about the money. This condo was not cheap. And it stayed it could sleep 10 people. No it can not my mother, me and my boyfriend slept on a couch, realistically it can only sleep 8 and that alone is a stretch. It was not the buildings fault like i said before they are privately owned so the building could not do anything about it, im sure other units in this building are nice and actually have air. They could use more parking though.
