Beach Club

Nice complex with many facilities only marred for us by stormy weather and a jelly fish invasion. Staff were very helpful on arrival with clear instructions re. access, parking etc. Beach was beautiful and the Beach staff very friendly and efficient. Had an apartment in the smaller complex on the second floor so we could get a view of the Ocean. It was very slightly dated in terms of decor/tiling etc but clean, adequate and large enough. One minor negative was that the bedroom had a window (with blind) onto the communal corridor. Fortunately that corridor only serves a couple of rooms and they have a ‘quiet hours’ policy so we weren’t disturbed but it just felt a little weird. Take the drive to Navarre it’s a pleasant, small resort.

Complete lack of maintenance throughout the facility. 1st day our AC breaks, 2nd day they had to close pool due to water quality (still closed after 5 days) and by the 4th day we had brown muddy water coming from the faucets.We were offered to use bathroom in a different room to bath our children as long as we kept it clean. Multiple walkway lights broken. Some with exposed wiring! Too many other options on the beach to consider ever staying here again. We are completely disappointed in all aspects of this place. They charge a premium but delivery and economy experience. Truly the worst vacation experience my family has ever had.

The condo was great. The balcony was BIG! There were some things walkable from the condo and that was nice, however nothing walkable for things you may truly need like essentials. Had to go over the bridge and cross that toll 5 times for groceries or excursions. I was surprised the area didn’t have more activity. No arcade. No Walgreens, no Dollar General, nothing. So save yourself time and money, don’t forget essentials! You will need extra of everything. The condo, 1605 C is rented by Southern Vacation Rentals. Excellent customer service. Would rent from them again but maybe not my first choice. The check out time is 9:00am. I had to go buy laundry detergent and thankfully I did because you have to start washing the towels before checkout and they don’t leave you laundry detergent. Change trash, with no extra trash bags. Odd most rental agencies charge SO much for a cleaning fee but you do most the cleaning and you have to leave bright and early. Overall the trip was good. Will not go back to that Pensacola area due to lack of activities nearby and the toll bridge.
