Budget Inn Ocean Resort

WARNING.., WARNING..., This is nothing as advertised ! It is listed as "Beach Front" it is NOT. It is listed as "Smoke Free" it is NOT. It is listed as with a "Pool" it has one, but the sign says, "you can not use" Since we booked through PriceLine, we requested a refund since it wasn't as advertised on their sight. The room was filthy, Water leaks on ceiling, Suspected mold, Suspicious smell, Access to Beach was down the street. ***Pictures are of the road, parking, and buildings between this hotel and the beach. One picture shows access to the beach down the street thru what appears to be a private vacant lot. We were told there was no refund because we didn't cancel 72 hours before the arrival date. Do not use Priceline. We called 4 other hotels directly to stay at for that time, and all the hotel prices were $50 a night cheaper than Priceline! Priceline used a 3rd party to book (Booking.com). So they could not help us even tho they took the reservations, and we used a Priceline credit card. You have been warned ! Do not use this hotel or Priceline.

The staff take pride in their work and were friendly and attentive and our rooms were clean. The grounds were beautiful and we could walk straight to the beach. Jean was very helpful with us booking our room. We loved being able to walk straight to the pier and other shops. Thank you for making our trip one of our best yet.

It was the cheapest offer for a night in Pompano Beach. Overall good value for money and the location is exceptional: directly on the beach. The price is a little expensive for the dated furnishings but it has all the comforts
